Key changes to the Loomis Sayles Global Equity Fund will take effect on 14 October 2024. Find out more

We are pleased to announce the Loomis Sayles Global Equity Fund was recently named as a top performer in an Australian Financial Review article analysing the performance of global equity fund managers.

While many Australian investors understand the benefits of investing in global equities, including adding diversity to their portfolios through access to many of the world’s most successful companies, it can often be difficult for investors to navigate a vast universe of options.

The Loomis Sayles Global Equity Fund offers unconstrained exposure to global equities through a high conviction portfolio where returns are driven by fundamental stock selection – key components in delivering successful outcomes, with a proven track record.#

Wayne McGauley, Head of Retail of Investors Mutual said: “We are extremely pleased to partner with a firm of the quality and history of Loomis Sayles. The quality of the strategy is clearly demonstrated by the consistency of results over 15 years. The Fund’s swift inclusion on many platforms in Australia as well as the growing interest and support from an increasing number of planning groups around the country bodes well for the long-term growth prospects for the Fund.”

Lee Rosenbaum, co-portfolio manager of the Loomis Global Equity Fund added: “We are very happy to be working with IML and to have the opportunity to manage the Global Equity Fund on behalf of Australian advisers and their clients. While it is pleasing to be named as a rising star in the global equities blended category in Australia, I think it’s important to point out that Loomis has been investing successfully in global equities using this strategy since October 2004.”

Eileen Riley, also co-portfolio manager of the Loomis Global Equity Fund added: “While many global sharemarkets rose strongly in 2019, we continue to find good opportunities to invest in global markets using our process of identifying stocks that have the three alpha drivers that we look for – quality, intrinsic value growth and attractive valuation.”
